A prominent emergency button sits in Lumina Core, available to any authorised team member. Press it and everyone with Core open sees the alert instantly, on desktops, tablets and phones, with no new hardware and nothing extra to carry.

Staff on lunch, in the office or on another floor are notified through the Core mobile app.
Who, where, when

A quiet, coordinated response

Not every emergency needs shouting across the building.

A conscious patient deteriorating slowly needs calm, not commotion. The alert quietly reaches the right people, reception included, without broadcasting the situation to a full waiting room.

Calm by design
Help is summoned without panic, which is better for the patient, the team and everyone else in the building.
Reception knows too
The front desk sees the alert immediately and can call 999 without anyone leaving the surgery to explain.
More than medical
Aggressive behaviour, safeguarding concerns, staff safety and urgent assistance use the same button.
After the event

Audited, recorded and reviewed. Not remembered.

Every alert is automatically recorded with who raised it, when, where, and who responded. It becomes an actionable issue that can be logged as an incident in Lumina Admin, followed up and reviewed, with no one filling in paperwork from memory afterwards.
